You can check the ink levels from the ink tanks on the printer.

1. On the Home screen of the printer display, touch `Menu`.
2. Scroll down to touch Ink levels.

How to refill ink tanks HP Smart Tank 7602 All-in-One Printer

Refill the ink tanks when the printer is low on ink.

  1. Open the ink access door and tank covers.
  2. Open the cap of the ink tank you plan to refill.
  3. Twist open the cap on the ink bottle, remove the seal from the bottle, screw back the cap and tighten it. Then, flip open the top of the cap.
  4. Match the color of the ink bottle with the color of the ink tank.
  5. Let the ink drain into the tank until the tank is full.
  6. Close the tank cap securely.
  7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 to refill other ink tanks.
  8. Close the tank covers and ink access door.

HP periodically releases firmware updates to enhance product functionality and fix issues. By default, if the printer (Wi-Fi models) or the connected computer has Internet connection, the printer automatically checks for updates at regular intervals.
