How to change the toner cartridge Xerox WorkCentre 6515 printer

Replace a toner cartridge while the machine is ON. Before replacing a cartridge, ensure that the machine is given time to cool down. Failure to do so may result in burns to the skin if certain parts of the machine are touched.

There are 4 toner cartridges; one cartridge for each toner color. From the left of the printer to the right, the corresponding colors are Yellow (Y), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), and Black (K).

  1. Open the front door to access the toner cartridges.
  2. Carefully pull the required toner cartridge out of the printer.
  3. Place the old cartridge aside for recycling.
  4. Remove the new toner cartridge from the packaging.
  5. Gently shake the toner cartridge back and forth six times.
  6. Line up the new toner cartridge with the required location and push the cartridge into the printer until the cartridge clicks into place.
  7. Close the front door.
